Build Community and Create Intentional Collaboration:

Designed and implemented the Southern Policy & Practice Network to support grassroots organizations working to improve educational outcomes for Black, Latino and low income students across six Southern states.

Created and directed the Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) for the state of Georgia to address education needs across the state. There are EPFP programs across the country through the Institute for Educational Leadership. They just finished the 15th GA cohort with another starting in the Fall.

LEVEL UP: Leveraging Explicit Value for Every Black Learner Unapologetically – a research-informed brief on which I was lead author that advocates for enhanced policies and practices to support Black learner access and success.

It’s Time to Get REAL: A Playbook to Demand Black Learner Excellence - a call to action for leaders in policymaking, higher education institutions, the workforce and community that will be digitized for increased usability. We are very excited about potential use of this tool.
